Dr. Ross Greene, Ph.D.
SpeakerRoss W. Greene, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and originator of Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS), detailed in his books The Explosive Child, Lost at School, and others. A Harvard Medical School faculty member for over 20 years, he founded the non-profit Lives in the Balance in 2009 and serves as adjunct professor at Virginia Tech and the University of Technology Sydney. He has implemented the CPS model across schools, psychiatric units, and detention facilities, achieving significant reductions in suspensions, restraint, and recidivism. Dr. Greene lectures worldwide and lives in Freeport, Maine.
M. Lynn Crismon, Pharm.D., FCCP, FASCP, DABCP, BCPP
SpeakerM. Lynn Crismon is Dean Emeritus and Behrens Centennial Professor Emeritus of Pharmacy and Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. Board certified in psychiatric pharmacy, he brings over 47 years of mental health care experience, with research focused on pharmacotherapy for adults and children with severe mental disorders. He serves on the REACH Institute's pediatric mental health mini-fellowship and leads clinical pharmacy for the UT System Health Intelligence Platform. He is a recipient of multiple distinguished service awards from ACCP, ASHP, and AACP.
Peter S. Jensen, M.D.
SpeakerPeter S. Jensen, MD, founded The REACH Institute in 2006 to address a critical need: bridging the gap between scientific advances in mental health care and the children and families who need them most. As Associate Director of Child and Adolescent Research at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Dr. Jensen initiated, led, and/or participated in many multi-site studies, including the landmark Multimodal Treatment Study of Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (MTA) study. During his time at NIMH, he witnessed firsthand how long it took for effective treatments to reach clinical practice, often leaving children waiting 15 to 18 years for support.
Dr. Edward (Ned) Hallowell, M.D.
SpeakerEdward (Ned) Hallowell, M.D. is a board-certified child and adult psychiatrist and world authority on ADHD. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Tulane Medical School, and was a Harvard Medical School faculty member for 21 years. He is the Founder of The Hallowell ADHD Centers in Boston MetroWest, New York City, San Francisco, Palo Alto and Seattle.
He has spent the past four decades helping thousands of adults and children live happy and productive lives through his strength-based approach to neurodiversity, and has ADHD and dyslexia himself.
A. Bryn Salter, M.D.
Workshop FacultyDr. Bryn Salter is a developmental and behavioral pediatrician who provides consultations for children with autism, complex ADHD, and academic difficulties, frequently evaluating these challenges within the framework of known or suspected neurogenetic conditions. Drawing on her experiences as a pediatrician, educator, and mother, she partners with families to identify coexisting conditions and implement practical strategies or medical management to help children thrive. Dr. Salter is deeply passionate about improving access to neuroaffirming behavioral and mental health services and is dedicated to expanding and strengthening the pediatric mental health workforce.
Deborah Buccino, M.D.
Workshop FacultyDr. Buccino graduated from Yale University and Harvard Medical School and completed residency in pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Buccino’s experience includes serving as a physician for schools ranging from preschool through college. She has been an Instructor of Pediatrics at Boston University Medical School and UMass Chan Medical School. She values partnering with youth and families to help them develop their full healthy potential. After doing primary care pediatrics for 25 years, she is now focusing her practice on developmental behavioral pediatrics. She is on The REACH Institute Faculty and helped develop courses on autism and collaborating with schools.
Elena Man, M.D.
Workshop FacultyElena Man, M.D. (she/her), is a board-certified pediatrician with three decades of clinical experience, focusing on mental health care for youth in the last several years. A faculty member and course leader at The REACH Institute, she serves on the PPP Steering Committee and co-developed two of the additional training courses for pediatric primary care clinicians: CBT for Anxiety in Primary Care Pediatrics and Parent Behavioral Management for Primary Care. As a PPP Alumni herself, Elena gratefully wishes REACH a Happy Anniversary!
Lisa Hunter Romanelli, Ph.D.
Workshop FacultyLisa Hunter Romanelli, PhD, has led The REACH Institute as CEO since 2018, driven by a personal passion for mental health sparked in her teens by her mother's experience with depression. She earned a BA in Psychology from Harvard, a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers, and trained in clinical child psychology at Yale. After collaborating with REACH founder Dr. Peter Jensen at Columbia, she joined REACH in 2007 to expand access to evidence-based mental health care. Under her leadership, REACH has trained over 4,000 health professionals since 2020 and is scaling nationally through a licensed-site model. She was named a 2023 DRK Foundation entrepreneur and 2025 Elevate Prize winner, and continues practicing CBT with children and adolescents.
